Your tour guide will pick you from your hotel or city cruise terminal and drive for city walls surrounding the old Constantinople for 14 miles. Stop at seven dungeons and visit the dungeon towers. Then drive for Suleymaniye Mosque which is the largest mosque of Istanbul built in 1557 by Architect Sinan. After visiting this huge monument, drive for Chora Museum. Chora was first built as a church in the 10th century then was canverted into a mosque by the Turks after the conquest of Constantinople. After being used as a mosque for over 300 years, was turned into today’s museum and offers the best well preserved frescoes and mosaics from 12th century. You can have a nice lunch at the Otoman cousine restaurant nearby Chora with your tour guide.
Then drive along the Golden Horn Gulf for Pierre Loti Hill. Use the cable car for getting up to the hill top and take some panaromic pictures of the beautiful town. Walking down the hill and see a religious sight of a Muslim sect for Turkish locals and meeting the van and your driver. Driving along the Golden Horn back. Stop for a short walk through the old Greek and Jewish districts of Fener and Balat. Visit Patriarchate House and Greek Orthodox Church dedicated to St. George. Tour ends at your hotel.
